The Modern-Day Warrior

A Modern Day Warrior is defined as a man who is battle-ready and lives by an exemplary code of conduct that embraces courage, compassion, and discipline.  It is the warrior who continuously strives for personal mastery to be a protector, seeker, and teacher. Our world is constantly changing and a warrior must stay sharp, learn and adapt quickly to his environment. He must be knowledgeable with the ebbs and flows of the hustle around him.  The Modern-Day Warrior is the one now more than ever being called to action; it asks that he lean into his own unique way of being.  He must be brave and bold and willing to ignite passion and purpose to align to his path in loving service and use his voice to call home his soul tribe and live a life he is worthy of in all ways. An Authentic Warrior balances his life by achieving harmony through discipline. He lives his life by constantly setting higher standards of excellence. While he may not attain excellence every day because he is human, the simple fact that he strives and pushes himself beyond his self-imposed limits is what continues to nurture, evolve and empower him.

When the warrior is walking his path in the light; he will move easily in a world that is constantly changing.  He must stay sharp, learn and adapt quickly to his environment. He must be knowledgeable and one with the ebbs and flows of the natural world around him.

When the warrior is walking his path in shadow; he becomes distracted, rigid, set in his beliefs, wounded, and fallen. The shadow of the warrior exists as part of the unconscious mind and is composed of repressed ideas, weaknesses, desires, instincts, and shortcomings. It forms out of lack of boundaries and causes overwhelm and pressure to adapt to cultural norms and expectations for acceptance and love.
